Join us in this noble cause and be part of a powerful community art project.

Tulum Art Club and Los Amigos de la Esquina are joining forces to launch "Murales con Causa", a project designed to transform the street leading to the LADLE school through meaningful mural art.

Since 2017, Los Amigos de la Esquina has offered free programs in art, wellness, environmental awareness, and life skills for children in Tulum. This initiative will not only beautify a key public space, but also serve as a long-term fundraising tool for the organization’s mission.

What we offer

Artists selected for this project will receive:

• Lodging in Tulum during the mural creation period

• Daily meals provided by local partners

• All necessary mural materials

• A fixed fee for the completed artwork

• Full credit in the official LADLE x Tulum Art Club Mural Collection

• Exposure through our print shop and international network

What’s expected in return

By participating, artists agree to:

• Donate the reproduction rights of the mural to be included in the first official LADLE Collection

• Understand that no royalties will be granted beyond the fixed fee

• Create work aligned with the values of community, inclusion, and social impact

The long-term vision

Each mural will be:

• Installed permanently in the neighborhood surrounding the LADLE school

• Marked with a QR code linking to the artwork’s print page in our online shop

• Commercialized as a limited edition fine art print

• Used as a fundraising tool for LADLE, with 70% of all net print profits going directly to the non-profit’s operations and future mural production

This creates a sustainable income model while building a legacy of socially engaged public art in Tulum.

Who can apply

We are looking for:

• Artists already planning to visit Tulum and seeking to make their trip more meaningful

• Local creators invested in their community

• Muralists, street artists, illustrators, or visual artists with experience in large-scale formats
