Mama Fuego started as a painted figure in Tulum: a matriarch made of fire, the kind of guardian the jungle keeps. She was made by an artist from the Tulum Art Club circle, working with the same palette we use on walls here — clay, smoke, ember.
People kept asking for her. So she became a print: an archival edition you can hang far from the jungle and still feel the heat of it.
Original work produced with Tulum Art Club, Tulum, Quintana Roo.
