As a creative, I’m always looking for inspiration. I’ve worked with Alfonso on real estate projects, but I had never visited his gallery and art residency in Valladolid until recently. I stayed for two nights and it was perfect to unplug and wander. I loved it. A great creative getaway close to Tulum, with an amazing gallery full of unique artwork. The location is beautiful and peaceful. I followed his recommendations during my stay and they were all spot on, really inspiring!

What an amazing experience we have had and continue to have with Tulum Art Club! Super helpful, friendly and knowledgable with insider tips on suggestions on some amazing experiences! Ranging from Art Walks, Live Mural paintings and artist talks to trips to visit ceramic experts and huge art led dinner events! Highly recommend!

What is included in the Creative Weekend package?
Your stay includes 2 or 3 nights in our boutique art suite in Valladolid, daily breakfast at Burrito Amor, a private pottery workshop with a local artisan, and insider recommendations for cenotes, ruins, and places to eat. The 3-night package includes a visit to Ek Balam on the last day.
Where do the workshops take place?
Our pottery workshop takes place in a traditional studio about 20 min form Valladolid, led by master artisans from the Espadas family, known for their generational work in clay and local traditions.
Can I book the experience with a friend or partner?
Yes! All packages are for 2 people, and you can add additional guests for $40 USD per night. The pottery workshop can also be adapted to small groups.
Do I need prior art experience?
Not at all. Our workshops are designed for beginners and experienced creators alike. The goal is to connect with your hands, materials, and local culture — not perfection.
Is transportation included?
Transportation to and from Valladolid is not included, but we can help you plan your route whether you’re coming from Tulum, Mérida, or Cancun.
Transportation to workshop and Ek Balam is included.
What if I want to stay longer or book a full residency?
We offer custom stays and artist residencies starting at 1 week. Let us know in the form and we’ll follow up to create the right plan for you.
