Plein Air is a pictorial practice that alludes to outdoor painting, used by French artists such as Monet, Pissaro, Renoir, among others; becoming popular since the 19th century.
The intention of this sessions is to generate sensorial experiences for all those people interested in learning and / or improving their creative skills, focused on the technique of drawing and inspired by the jungle atmosphere.

Meet Javiera da Fonseca
Who is Javiera da Fonseca?
Javiera da Fonseca is a visual artist originally from Chile. In her work she works with different media such as painting and installation, her main inspiration being architecture, nature and color. Her work talks about how through color, infinite forms and compositions in nature we are able to connect with a high state of consciousness where we can experience unity. Her painting seeks to be a bridge to that state through a constant chromatic search and the symbolic charge of each color that has helped the human being throughout history to explain the dualities between the human and the divine, understand natural phenomena and existential concerns.
Javiera's work has been exhibited in countries such as the United States, Canada, Mexico and Chile. She currently lives and works in Mexico.
